Ghana's presidency official Ahmed said they had fertile cotton fields to farm and produce

Mustapha Ahmed, minister of state at Ghana's Presidency in charge of Development Authorities, has called on Turkish entrepreneurs to process and produce cotton in Ghana's fertile cotton fields.
Following a meeting in Istanbul, Ahmed said his country lagged behind in modern agriculture, and called on Turkish businessmen to invest in agricultural sector in Ghana.
"We are planning to boost our investments. Modern agriculture, power plants and construction of highways have a priority in investment. We need a serious support of businessmen to make these investments," he said.
